Viagrande

We enjoyed our stay in Viagrande, in this wonderful house! The house has an amazing location to visit several other things like Etna, Catania, Acireale, Taormina etc.The villa definitely has everything you could wish for, an amazing gym, a refreshing pool and even an outside shower. We've been enjoying eating delicious outside food in nice restaurants nearby, but also used the kitchen a few times. (Which has been amazing to us with all the cooking essentials). We enjoyed eating breakfast on the sunny terrace in the mornings. NICE! There are so many more things, which we loved in the certain vacation here... Too many to write them all down! :) All in all, we really appreciated everything and especially the friendly and also loving support of Danilo and Amine! Thank you so much! We had an amazing stay at the Villa. The house truly has everything you could wish for - from the lovely garden and refreshing pool to the excellent facilities and peaceful surroundings. The location has been ideal for exploring all the charming villages and towns nearby. Waking up to the stunning view of Mount Etna has been absolutely magical. We loved visiting the local wineries and restaurants. We truly appreciated all the great tips and recommendations our hosts shared with us throughout our stay. A huge thank you for your warm hospitality from the moment we arrived until our very last day. You've been incredibly kind, attentive and always willing to help. It really made us feel welcome. Great location for Etna & the coast. Great villa with excellent facilities. Amine & Danilo were attentive hosts ready to meet all our needs. It would be even better if the pantry over the bath was more practical - we had to use an alternative shower - Giuliu there was great so it was easily overcame. Gissell Gibbons from UK.

Our week in this beautiful villa was an amazing experience! The hammock, pool, gym and villa itself were perfect for our family of 6. Everything we could possibly want was already here for us, and it's well stocked with all sorts of extras. We loved all of the fresh fruit and gardens to explore and harvest as well. We took a cable car up Mt Etna, which is a must-see and the views from the top are wonderful! Our Taormina visit was also brill, with packed, tourist-filled and colourful streets, and ice-cream parlour Don Peppinu was a great stop. The city itself is filled with amazing architecture, and the beaches are beautiful, despite us stumbling over more than a few teen beach parties during Ferragosto, a festival of fertility! Lovely week away, beautiful villa and fantastic hosts! The pool and gym were amazing. Trip to Etna was brilliant and local pastries a must! We had a lovely stay in this beautifully appointed villa. Glorious views of Etna, fantastic pool & the care that has gone into the landscaping & grounds makes this a particularly secluded & relaxing place to stay. The arancini, coffee and granita were so good, we went to Bar Sport Pasticceria in Trecastagni and brought them again for our final evening dining by the pool. We had some excellent meals in Nicolosi (A Sette Note at Taormina), & Trecastagni (Pizza at I tre archi di Balla & also at the square). Amine was super responsive & helpful with ideas for beach clubs, arranging a guide for Etna (really worthwhile activity) & explaining how everything works in the house. If you are up for an adventure, we also did Body rafting in the Alcantara gorge. Particularly enjoyed by the 17-22 year olds (Mum & Dad only watched). Judith, Peter, Fred, Ruth & Xandar

Wir hatten zu zusammen mit den Kindern und den Enkeln eine sehr schöne, gemeinsame Zeit. Tagsüber hatten alle viel Spaß am Pool, beim Tischtennis und mit den Katzen. Wir haben oft gegrillt und gekocht und den Runden voll (Glück) genossen. Einige Male waren wir auch zum Essen aus, meist Pizza, wofür wir beim 4 und 7 jährigen Enkeln Vielen Dank besonders der owners-family, die uns bei einem "medizinischen Notfall" so toll unterstützt haben. Wir haben uns rundherum gut aufgehoben gefühlt und die stilvolle Atmosphäre des Hauses und der Gartenanlage genossen. Sizilien hat uns sehr gut gefallen, wir kommen wieder Caroline, Jörg, Nils und Amelie und Nina mit Hans und Lix aus Rödental / Deutschland

We had a very relaxing time here at Villa Via Grande. The Villa was everything we hoped for, very comfortable and well appointed. We particularly enjoyed the gym & the pool. The views are magnificent and every day gave a new view of Etna. The Feast of the Saints in Trecastagni was a new experience, with so many people, fireworks & new tastes to enjoy. The lights were amazing & the fireworks plentiful. We enjoyed visits to Taormina & Siracusa, and the train journey along the coast was lovely. Special thanks to Danilo. Nous avons passé une semaine magnifique en Sicile: visites de Taormina, Agrigento (La Vallée des Temples), Syracuse et randonnée sur l'Etna. Notre séjour à la Villa Viagrande, sous le soleil, a été parfait. Nous avons profité de tous ses aménagements extérieurs: table de ping-pong, baby-foot, petit-déjeuner sur la terrasse et même une baignade dans la piscine encore un peu fraîche. Family of 7 here - from Poland. We have come to Viagrande in order to celebrate Easter together - first time outside of our homeland! And doing it here was a great decision! All was perfect - from weather, through the most awesome hosts (Danilo and his wife), to the luxurious villa, filled with splendid amenities. We are now full of beautiful memories and experiences. Thank you for this lovely accommodation. The views of Etna are beautiful. If only it was warm enough to use the pool! We loved the space outside and really enjoyed the football table.
